John Amos and his departure from Good Times

I always liked John Amos. His roles on Good Times and Roots were pure artistic genius.

This was one of my favorite shows growing up. I always thought it was weird why they killed off his character so quick. Now I know why and I commend him for standing up for the other characters in the show who weren’t getting enough character development.
